Madron

Until mid 19th century this included Penzance and parts of Newlyn.

A Henry Eustick aka Usticke BA was vicar of Breage 1755 onwards - died and buried there. He was the one referred to in connection with Nancealvan in Coulthard (see page 83) and he married Mary Borlase in Madron 1751. See Eustice/Ustick confusion explain elsewhere. PE holds pamphlet from Madron church with list of incumbents as D107. Note pagan well behind church and see CFHS 27-17 on name de Madron.
