Newlyn and East Newlyn

"Named for its patron saint, St Newelina, the parish of St Newlyn East is sometimes known as plain Newlyn or Newlyn East. It was also sometimes referred to as Newlyn in Pydar, to distinguish it from the parish of Newlyn near Penzance. It belongs to the deanery and Hundred of Pydar." - rootsweb - so I need to separate these in due course. Unless otherwise stated, all entries were for "Newlyn" but they may have to be checked in cade sources were muddled.

Until mid 19th century, Penzance and parts of Newlyn were inclued in Madron.
