The winner will then be published in the paper on National Poetry Day (4th October), read on stage that evening (by the writer or one of our organisers on their behalf) and published on this site. There are no restrictions on subject or style and you can enter as many as you like. Just send your text by email from here or post it to Poetry Comp, 50 St. Thomas's Rd., Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 7JN. We need to know your name, telephone number, email (if any) and whether you are entering for over 19, 16-19 or under 16. We cannot return any entries so please keep a copy. rules and deadlines Entries can be made at any time from now onwards, but all entries should be received by 13th September. A shortlist (top 3 in each category) will be published by The Worthing Herald on 20th September.
